Nadunisi Naaygal- A story of two friends who are in love with the same girl. Chokkaram, an upright man who is a father figure to both of them falls into a rage when he finds out that his daughter-in-law is cheating on him. He orders her to leave his house and never come back. His son Vinod, unable to withstand the situation leaves for Mumbai with his wife leaving behind a shattered Chokkaram and his other son Raja, who cares for him but does not have the guts to defy him as he owes everything to him as he raised him virtually single handedly from childhood. Chokkaram returns to Chennai, devastated. He meets with his friend Simbu who tries to console him by saying that he should forget about his daughter-in-law for now and concentrate on himself. Chokkaram is unable to do it due to his love for his son Raja. Simbu convinces Chokkaram that everything happens for a reason and all the bad things that happen in life come from a positive force which can be used in a better way if we use it in the right path. After 12 years, some one tries to blackmail Raja into some deal but Raja turns them down and takes revenge on him. The person is badly injured in the fight. Raja then leaves for his native place. Chokkaram has meanwhile fallen ill due to heart problems and is admitted in the hospital. The doctor tells him that he might not survive for more than 4–5 days due to his extremely bad health condition. Chokkaram wants to see his son "one last time" before his death and enlists all efforts to get in touch with him who has left home 12 years ago after an argument with Chokkaram over the issue of his wife Shoba leaving home without informing him and leaving their son with him, when he was very sick. He is shocked to see Raja in a building with a woman. Raja tells him that he will give him an answer in a few days. This infuriates Chokkaram who believes that his son was not even interested in knowing about their family and failed to bring their son back home. He knows that Raja is not the same person he used to know and was unable to get along with him due to his anger and frustration. He says that his wife always left the family and never cared for them, but Raja tells him that he was unable to make her happy. The person who came to meet Raja gives Chokkaram an item he had given back to him. It is a watch named "Shakti", which belonged to Chokkaram's father-in-law. This makes Chokkaram understand that Raja had actually come for him, not his wife Shoba. cfa1e77820
